TIIF and Wine on the Vine are proud to present a new and exclusive wine tasting workshop series!
We’ll take you on a journey through the history of Israeli wine and Jewish wine culture, touching on the development of the Israeli wine industry and the soil of the Holy Land that makes its wine so unique.
And of course, we will drink! 8 different wines from all regions of Israel and from around the world will be served, along with fresh bread and fine cheese.
This wine journey will be led by our house sommelier and Assistant Director of Wine on the Vine, Eylon Bart, who will teach you the main principles for professional wine tasting (SAT) and answer all your questions about wine.

More about Eylon Bart:
Eylon Bart (Bartnovski) was born in Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom and moved to Israel at a young age. Following his service in the IDF, Eylon worked in a number of cocktail bars around Tel Aviv, where he discovered his passion for wine and spirits. He went on to manage a professional wine store, and eventually started studying at the WSET Wine School based in London, where he graduated a wine expert and professional sommelier. During his studies, Eylon worked as a sommelier and manger of importation for one of the biggest Israeli wine importers and distributors called France-Israel wine (FIW). Now based in Tel Aviv, Eylon works as the assistant director and sommelier for Wine on the Vine.
